I was interested in why I seem to have gravitated towards blues and greens in my work lately. Found this site...http://www.incredibleart.org/lessons/middle/color2.htm
Blue: Peace, tranquility, cold, calm, stability, harmony, unity, trust, truth, confidence, conservatism, security, cleanliness, order, loyalty, sky, water, technology, depression, appetite suppressant.
Turquoise symbolizes calm. Teal symbolizes sophistication. Aquamarine symbolizes water. Lighter turquoise has a feminine appeal
Green: Nature, environment, healthy, good luck, renewal, youth, spring, generosity, fertility, jealousy, service, inexperience, envy, misfortune, vigor.
Let's resolve to help each other, no matter what. Reach out, feel compassion, treat others as you would like to be treated. Put good energy out there into the universe. We will overcome!
I've started and restarted blogging here on Squarespace and it's time to stop procrastinating and put in some time learning it. So, here we go...hold on tight!
I work at Yucca Art Gallery next Friday and I most always bring in new work and/or have some pieces to work on... Hate not being busy while sitting at the gallery. If you wonder when I work you can always check the Yucca Art Gallery website's calendar (of which I just happen to be the webmaster). Please come visit me some time!
